For healing colds and flu: If you feel a cold or flu just coming on, take a couple of capsules of cayenne pepper with a large glass of water first thing. This flushes it right out of your bloodstream. OR, if you're pepper-phobic, on an empty stomach first thing in the day, sip on 32 ounces of not-from-concentrate orange juice (fresh-squeezed is best) with the juice of 2 lemons squeezed into it. Of course, organic is always best. Take about a half hour to finish the juice, but only sipping. This will also flush it out. BUT, if the cold or flu has already taken hold, then put several drops of 3% hydrogen peroxide solution into one ear while you're lying down on your side. Let it fizz up. When it's done, roll over and let it drain out onto a tissue or paper towel. Then do the other ear the same way. Yes, it's weird but it works for most colds and flus. The new thought on this is that the germ/virus enters the body through the ear just as often as it does through the nose. Why you don't want to get a flu shot: A longitudinal study by Johns-Hopkins reports that people who have gotten 5 consecutive flu shots have a 10 times greater risk of developing Alzheimer's Disease.
