How to Keep It Healthy -- Physically

In one word, CIRCULATION -- circulation of blood flow through the tissues to transport

* oxygen and
* nutrients to the cells.

Circulation of lymphatic flow to

* deliver other substances, like hormones
* carry away cellular waste products.

Lymph is the clear stuff you sometimes see around the blood when you get a little cut. It has as vital a body function as the garbage collectors in a town. If they don't work, the whole place gets foul. Our lymph is critically important for flushing out all the bad stuff we eat or breathe in or put on our skin.

Each cell is like a little world, spinning with activity, whether we are asleep or awake. Lots of input. Lots of output. They take in foods through the cell walls, nourishing the DNA. They eliminate what they do not need. They keep their environment healthy and in balance.

Cells and tissues are like underwater plants. When the river they live in is flowing clearly and smoothly, they live out a full life cycle. When the water becomes stagnant or polluted, overgrowth of other populations (like yeasts, fungus and bacteria) chokes the life out of the once healthy plants -- or cells and tissues.

The difference between our tissues and underwater plants is that the fluid inside our cells has been shown to be essentially immortal. But when the cells don't receive enough of the proper nutrition or become unable to eliminate enough waste, the fluid bogs down. Then the entire function of the cell becomes "stagnant" and deteriorates. Tissues suffer and their life span decreases.

This is an invitation to poor functioning, which makes way for disease and cell mutation. So, circulation of a good clean blood and lymph supply is vital to the long life of the cell, of the tissues and of the body.

That said, let's also realize that, even in a healthy person who grows their own alive foods and drinks pure spring water and breathes fresh air, there's a percentage of cell "wear and tear."

It's a fact that out of every several million cells, a tiny percentage mutates and becomes cancerous. Cell DNA undergoes four stages of breakdown from healthy to full-blown cancerous. (Any one of those stages can be reversed and restored to full health in many cases. See frankincense essential oil and cancer.)

In that sense, we ALL -- every one of us -- have cancer. But, our bodies' immune systems are wired to detect and automatically eliminate these renegade cells.

First, the mutations are identified by immune cells. Then, as has been seen under cell microscopy, the immune cell injects the cancer cell with OXYGEN. The bad cell simply dies off. That is cancer treatment at its finest -- the way nature designed it.

Now we understand why we need a vigorous flow of CIRCULATION throughout all our tissues to carry away the WASTE that breeds illness and to deliver OXYGEN and NUTRIENTS to preserve health.

While the heart pumps blood through the body, the lymph has no pump. It relies on muscle contraction through our movements to fully flush tissues and keep them healthy.

Now we understand why it is so important to do regular exercise and movement.

Now we understand why nutrition is so important for the vitality and function of cells and tissues ... why we don't want to junk up our bodies with processed "dead" foods, filled with chemicals which the cells work hard to eliminate.

Now we understand that it can be simple to prevent breast cancer -- or any other kind of cancer -- naturally:

* eat fresh, whole foods, preferably organic which are grown without chemical fertilizers and insecticides

* drink pure or at least filtered water to help the lymph run clean

* move your body and stretch throughout the day.

The "Physical" suggestions elsewhere on this website are based on all the information given above, so that you understand why they are important.

The "Mental/Emotional" and "Spiritual" levels have more to do with the ENVIRONMENT the cells and tissues live in, how we COMMUNICATE internally with ourselves, the messages we send our bodies and the ENERGY we give ourselves that either enhances or destroys life. These aspects will be covered in those sections.
