To get the most benefit from your guided imagery meditation session, follow these simple common-sense tips: 1. Wear headphones, if you do not have a private place to listen to the audio. 2. Close the door, if you have a private office or room. 3. Turn off your phone/cell phone so that you are not interrupted and have to start all over again. 4. Kick off your shoes, loosen your belt, tie and any other piece of clothing that may be binding or distracting. Get as comfortable as you can. 5. Drink some water. Like the battery in your car, your brain works better with water than without. 6. Sit up straight.
